From late May to early June, Estonia will buzz with stylish events. Over two months, fashion-focused happenings will take place in three cities: ERKI in Tallinn, the Estonian Fashion Festival in Tartu, and Ida Mood in Narva. The season will launch on May 24 at Narva’s Vaba Lava Theatre with the eco-conscious Ida Mood Swap Party & Fashion Show.
Ida Mood: Fifth Season in Narva
The Ida Mood fashion show returns to Narva for its fifth edition, previously known as MOEPÖÖRE in 2024 and KINOFF MOESHOW in 2021 and 2022. The event’s core mission is to champion sustainable fashion, promote young Estonian designers, and foster dialogue between the local community and contemporary design.
Sustainable fashion and clothing reuse have always been at the heart of Ida Mood. This year, the organizers have crafted an even richer program: alongside a fashion show featuring Estonian designers, attendees can enjoy a clothing swap, a charity initiative, and lectures by industry experts.
Event Program
12:00–17:00: Swap Party and Lectures
The event kicks off with a Swap Party, an eco-friendly clothing exchange. Bring items you no longer wear and swap them for something new to you. Organizers request that clothes be pre-washed and labeled with a price tag. A charity booth will also be available, where attendees can donate dresses or suits for Narva’s underprivileged graduates.

During this time, lectures in Russian by fashion industry experts will take place. Anna Chirkova, founder of B.MOR Studio, will share tips for building a sustainable and trendy wardrobe. Daria Popa, a stylist and co-owner of Laver dry cleaners, will offer advice on avoiding impulse purchases, caring for clothes, and developing personal style.
19:00–20:00: Fashion Show
In the evening, Estonian designers will showcase their collections on the Vaba Lava stage. The Ida Mood team will also present a capsule collection created in collaboration with “Uuskasutuskeskus”, Estonia’s largest reuse center.
Model registration has closed, but fashion enthusiasts can still get involved as volunteers. There are plenty of tasks behind the scenes, from assisting designers to selling and checking tickets. Register via the provided link.
Important: Volunteers must be 16 years old or older!
